The cheating husband is Hartlepool assistant manager Sam Collins. His wife accused him of 'breaking his children's hearts' by cheating. She posted scathing messages on his Twitter page, which has now been taken down.
Her three furious messages read: "My name is Sam Collins and I'm having an affair with ***** ***** from Durham I'm a male slag and she's a hoe tonight I broke my kids hearts.
"I also have a very small penis which I wear on my head. And as from today I will never see my phone again".
Clare took down her Twitter account shortly afterwards, but later confirmed she had sent the three tweets.
She told The Sun: "I tweeted it. But I don’t want to say anything more for the sake of our children."
Collins on his part claimed he is would no longer see the other woman following the embarrassing episode.
He said: “I came home yesterday to tell her everything. I was hoping it was something we would deal with between us.
"Claire has done what she has done with it. She’s put it on Twitter.
When asked if his affair was over, he said: "I have not even spoken to her since yesterday... but it will be."
